We woke up bright and early to a hectic, jam-packer pack day. Our morning consisted of buck showers and a rice and beans breakfast then we took a trip to a local poverty stricken community where the people lived in shacks with dirt floors. Although these families had close to nothing, they welcomed us with open arms. We exchanged life stories and experiences as well as a delicious lunch. They gave us a tour of their homes and a glimpse of their everyday lives. We celebrated our beautiful interaction with a piñata party with the children of the community.

Next we headed back to our hostel where we prepared for our first English classes. Everyone was feeling a bit nervous, but it turned out that all the Glimpsers loved teaching the locals no matter how big or small their classes were. We finished the day with the usual nightly meeting and self-reflection, and began to wind down with a little bit of free time. Despite having an exhausting and stressful day we managed to complete every activity with a positive attitude.

After a long tiring day, the time has come to lay down and rest for the many adventures that await us tomorrow. The leaders of the day, Brandon and Liz would like to wish you all at home a good night. We hope you enjoy reading about our many adventures! Make sure to leave a warm comment 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😅😜😡😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😎😎😎😎😎!!!!!
