Good Morning Everybody! I hope to write a more in depth post when there is more time. I just wanted to take a quick moment to say I am so blessed to be a leader on this trip and work with these amazing students. I am learning so much from them.
A group of us (Emma, Thalia, Bri, Felico, Shahmar, Andrew, Austin, Colin, Norman and me) that decided not to hike Mount Killamanjaro got to explore the city yesterday, find some amazing food, meet some awesome people and play some basketball. Below is a picture of some of the explorers after an intense but friendly game of basketball. The CHAMPS are holding up #1!
Right now everyone is trickling out of bed (slowly) for breakfast.
