Buenas Noches a todos!

I happy to tell all of you parents and GG staffers that this delegation made it to Managua safe and sound! It was a long one. Wooooooowe! We’ve got some first-time-flyers, some first time out-of-the-countryers, a just some down right thrill seeks in this crew. And you’ll all be proud to know that this delegation of students couldn’t have been more respectful, punctual, and amicable the whole adventure through. So a tip of the hats to all of you parents for a job well done on these young leaders.

We’ve had the pleasure of a grand reception from our two GG Coordinators Ena and Kim. Signs were made. Cheers resounded. Hugs were given. Subway was eaten. And we had our first encounter with what it means to be flexible in a new environment. Here’s a hardy cheer to our vegetarian Global Glimpsers who remained patient, respectable, and flexible to the always possible unplanned ‘hick-ups’ of adventures (mmmmm fresh garden hotel salads!) 🙂 And so at the current moment we are checked in at the ‘Mozonte Hotel’ in Managua. She’s a beaut folks. Open air courtyard with pool side restaurant. I mean, we might as well be at the RItz. If you could only have seen the smiles when we arrived!

Bright and early morning tomorrow! And its off to our delightful home of Granada for the next 2 weeks!

More to come!

Best,

Matt and Charlie
