Can’t wait!

Hey everyone! My name is Athena Bautista and I’m an incoming senior from Encinal High School in Alameda, CA which is a small school in an island whose location no one ever seems to know unless I say it’s near Oakland. I love doing a multitude of things but if I have to narrow it down I would say I love playing volleyball, swimming, reading (yes I read for fun), chilling with my best friends and musical theatre (even though sometimes I just sound like a dying whale). I also love doing new things; a few things in my (realistic) bucket list  are: snorkeling, paintball, going on a road trip and of course going to the Dominican Republic for such an amazing experience! I am so excited to meet all of you and make unforgettable memories as we learn, work and laugh. I’ve been waiting since the beginning of junior year for this trip and I can’t believe it’s almost here! I’m looking forward to everything we’re about to do but especially meeting the locals and getting to know their culture.  I can’t wait to see you guys on Sunday!
