Today was an interesting one. Fortunately for all of the energy deprived Glimpsers, we were able to sleep in a little longer than usual; 7:00. As usual breakfast was incredibly delicious, with omelets, sausage, and to wash it all down, we were given some fresh, homemade juice…. Mom take some notes….

After an energizing meal my fellow Glimpsers and I got straight to work. As Glimpsers we split ourselves into different categories in order to divide and conquer the daunting tasks at hand. In order to begin our CAP project we needed measurements, safety equipment, and supplies. At lunch we reconvened, bringing all of our work together. After a quick meeting we dove right into the heart of the project; deconstruction. We were able to disassemble most of the roof and are planning to dive into the reconstruction of the framework of the laundry room building.

Later, we traveled to Buffet La Familiar for a once again amazing meal, which consisted of Mexican Tacos with another tasty juice. To our surprise our extremely gracious hosts treated us with delicious ice cream, lifting everyone’s spirits to an all-time high.

I am looking forwards to completing our amazing project!
