Hi everyone! Today we spent the day at Rebaño de Alegría, where we are working on our CAP project. We got off to a slow start the day before, so we had a lot to do. We had three different groups: one working with kids, one painting chairs and tables, and one painting the walls/working on the mural. We got a lot done today, including painting all of the walls, sketching out the mural, and retouching the exterior of the building. One challenge that we faced, however, was that it started to pour while we were working, and since the whole outdoor space is covered in dirt, there was a lot of mud on the floors. This is another issue that we want to fix. We’ll be working on the project again tomorrow, and we’ll be finishing up the mural and the tables and chairs. Wish us luck!
P.S. Hey mom and dad! We miss you! Can’t wait to see you soon 🙂
