Hello Everyone! Today was our first Free Day

Brionde: Today, we had our first free day. Everyone got split up with a leader or an ambassador. During our first free time, I was with a leader and we, along with four others, went to a small café that sold many pastries. The menu didn’t have prices on it and since we aren’t from here, we got charged more. Although that happened, the workers, service and food was still really good. After that, we walked back to have a delicious lunch before the ambassadors came to take us to the Cathedral, the supermarket for snacks, and to the local festival. Many people weren’t there but it was really fun walking around, listening to the music and watching everyone dance around. Ending the day on a great note, we also stopped to get Ice Cream before coming back!Today, we had our first free day. Everyone got split up with a leader or an ambassador. Fatime: A place I went to was the Cathedral. The Cathedral is a type of temple that’s catholic. This temple had a really nice view of the city, San Juan De La Magana it’s been one of my favorite places. So far because the Dominican Republic is really beautiful overall including its people.

We posted a picture that one of the students took at the top of the Cathedral.

Thanks,

Fatima & Brionde
