Today we had the chance to go around different places in Matagalpa since it was our free day. People went in groups of four to places like Yum Yum, which is a bakery, and Kiss Me, which is an ice cream shop. Most of the groups went to these two places the most and really enjoyed it. People also went to stores and bought souvenirs for their families; others went to stores to try and get themselves something nice.
At some point, groups met up and went to the same places; they all enjoyed the donuts that they got from Yum Yum. Aside from getting such tasty treats, people went to the cafe in order to contact their families and other loved ones and inform them of how they were enjoying their stay in Matagalpa. We all enjoyed our free day and are ready for our next free day next week
