My name  is Reese Richardson and I was leader the day we went to the coffee farm Selva Negra. We learned a lot about the process of coffee farming in Nicaragua. we also disgusted how some times fair trade isn’t actually fair, because the wages may be better but the treatment may be worse. to see the way they grow the coffee we took a hike through the jungle on the mountain. Not only did we see coffee plants but also monkeys,birds, interesting pants and a strange rodent the looks like a red giant rat. After words we had the opportunity to buy coffee and explore the property on our own. we split up in to different groups and either relax and drink coffee, take a hike, or go to the gift shop. By the time we arrived back at the hostel we we’re almost to tired to teach the English class.
