Hey guys!! My name is Jackie Ochoa, I’m 17, and I’m a student at freedom high school. I’m so excited to be going on this trip as it has always been my dream to work with people the way we will be doing so on this trip. I have always been really invested in helping and giving back to my community. I am a proud Mexican American with a positive and open minded outlook on life. I’m so excited, yet I’m also nervous with the fact that I will have no connection with anyone back home. I’m really excited to build new friendships with people and I feel as though I will return home with a whole new outlook on life.
