Leila and Erick here. Your GG leaders for Matagalpa 7/20/2013. We are looking forward to meeting you all and begin our adventures together! The next three weeks are sure to be unforgettable. You may have noticed that our trip date/link is missing from the blog site, but do not fear as I have been informed that it will be added soon and your parents will be able to follow us as we experience Nicaragua. Until that link is up, lets just cover the basics in the following post:
Very soon now, most of you will be headed toward the SFO airport where you will meet Leila and I at 3.am. at the American Airlines counter (domestic) for check-in. Remember your passports, copies of passports, cash ($10 exact, in-hand for the visitors Visa) and a fresh change of clothes and hygienic necessities packed in your carry on (We will be staying overnight in Managua and will not unload luggage).

Hi everyone hope you had a good trip, anxiously awaiting to hear that you arrived at the Hostel safe and sound.
Just want to let you know that we are here in Matagalpa, safe and sound! The students arrived in Managua late Saturday evening and made phone calls home. Damita tells me that she called but didn’t leave a voicemail messege. Stay tuned, a blog of our day will be posted soon.
