Hopefully you all received our email from a few weeks ago, introducing ourselves as your Program Coordinators. Javier, from Matagalpa (about 1.5 hours from Esteli), has worked as a translator in the past with student groups from the U.S., and recently completed a degree in Engineering. Whitney, from southern California, has lived in New York, East Africa, and throughout Latin America, leading youth programs. We are both happy to be a part of Global Glimpse, and we have been working hard at the Coordinator retreat in Leon this past week to prepare for your arrival on Tuesday!
We hope everyone is ready for a great 3 weeks in Esteli. It is officially the rainy season here, so please remember to bring a rain jacket and dress in layers.
