Today we were preparing for our community service project. For our community service project we are going to a pre school and paint three murals,paint the second floor, and make swings for the kids to play on. The pre school we are going to is named Barriletes which needs a lot of help. So today we made a list of materials that we need and how much we need. The twenty of us made donations so then we can buy the supplies. We split into two groups the painters and the miscellaneous group. Even though there was not much to do today we dealt with a lot of conflict. For example the painters and the miscellaneous group did not communicate well so we butt heads initially. The painters wanted one thing and the miscellaneous group wanted another thing so it was difficult to agree on things. It was very stressful because we can only get so much supplies since we had a budget and we had to think about how to save money. We had to prioitize and see what was needed and most important. We split into two groups to gather the materials all around Leon. We came back and all of us were tired from just gathering the materials and strugiling to come to terms. But at last the two groups got together and made comprimises to please both of the groups. And now we are looking forward to the pre school project. Also very much looking foward to climbing the volcano tomorrow – wooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!
