This is it! 1 week and 2 days to go! I for one am very excited!

I can’t wait to experience all of the new sights, smells and sounds.

But first let me in introduce myself, my name is Stephen Miller and I am one of the Global Glimpse leaders for the San Cristobal trip on July 2nd. I am no stranger to traveling. I was on my first plane before I was 3 years old. I was born in Indonesia, grew up 6 years there, moved to Manila in the Philippines until I finished High School. For college, I moved to the US, first to Longview Texas, then to San Francisco and have been here ever since. During all of that, I was fortunate to go on trips to Panama, Brazil, Malaysia, Singapore,  and Taiwan as well as study abroad in Pohang, Korea.

Currently, I am a HS Physics teacher at Abraham Lincoln High School in San Francisco. I also coach the Boys Varsity Soccer team at Lincoln High and coach youth soccer the the SF Vikings Soccer Club. I am an avid Liverpool FC fan and watch every game I can. Soccer is a huge part of my life. I got my bachelors in Physics at the University of San Francisco, and my Masters in Teaching there as well.

I love traveling and seeing new places and new people. I am excited to encounter a part of the world that I have never seen before “The Caribbean” and can’t wait to have my worldviews and paradigms challenged in a whole new way.

It’s going to be an adventure!
