Hey parents and friends,

The M2C delegation is already in their new home for the next 20 days! They arrived at the nica airport around 11 am, and then we received them and took them to eat their first nica dish at Doña Marlene’s restaurant in Managua.

After that we started a 2 hrs bus ride to Matagalpa and the group showed so much enthusiasm at the seeing of a new place. When we finally got to the hostel we were able to review the hostel rules and get to know each other and share about our expectations and all. We had a nightly meeting and then everybody had some downtime before bedtime.

Tomorrow is History day and the group will check out the town at the same time that they will learn about local history. It’ll be great!

Parents: If you did not get a call from your kid, we’ll try tomorrow. But don’t worry they are already having a great time!
