History day was jammed packed with information, a city tour of Santo Domingo and a 3.5 hour trip to San Juan! Our youth stayed awake, energized and finished the day strong with some big love! They enjoyed some delicious mashed potatoes and chicken from Sheila’s Onaney Restaurant along with some REAL FRUIT Fruit Punch. Everyone is taking care of eachother, drinking lost of water and lathering up with sunscreen. We are in San Juan de la Maguana and everyone is catching up on some well needed sleep!!
Youth are now very knowledgeable of the history of the DR and San Juan after an amazing speech for Professor Ruben Zavala, a reknown Social Sciences Professor from the Autonomis University of Santo Doming (UASD)!
