Hi Everyone!
We made the journey and arrived safely to Esteli. I would have posted a picture but Ms. castro’s phone got lost with the pictures. We will post tomorrow showing our journey thus far. The students ate delicious food, took a 2 hour bus nap and had an amazing dinner. During dinner the rain came and it poured! Some of us forgot our rain gear and got a cold shower by Mother Nature. Some students got to talk to their parents while others didn’t answer, but we will try again hopefully Saturday. Thanks for reading.
Glad to hear that you are all safe and enjoying so far. Can’t wait to see pictures and follow along with you on your adventures!
Looking forward to more stories and pictures. Hope all the kids are dry!
Glad to know there all safe, and hope to see pictures soon.
We are glad everyone hear everyone is safe. Looking forward to reading stories and view some pictures!
You all are doing something AMAZING – amazing because it’s so meaningful and so challenging. I love reading about the work you’re doing, what you’re seeing, and what you’re learning. I’m sure you will learn as much about yourselves as you will about others. And a special shout out to HEIDI! =)
Heidi, were you one of the wet or dry students? 😉
Please take pictures of the food too! The food there is so yummy! Vaya con Dios!

Sounds like a great adventure. Heidi, looking forward to stories and pictures when you return.
Hi Heidi,
I know you must feel a little homesick by now, but just think of the stories you’ll have to tell. I haven’t met you yet, but I had a huge crush on your Uncle Jeff when I was nine, and loved your Grandma Dorothy very much. One of my fondest childhood memories was a Halloween party I attended at the house on 10th Ave. We bobbed for apples and I won the contest as, would you believe, Little Red Riding Hood, lol.
Stay strong and enjoy your trip!
With Love,
Jennie D.
