Hola family and friends!

We were greeted by a rainy and muggy afternoon as we safely arrived in Managua today. Our favorite moment? Taking a roundabout bus ride from our plane to the gate entrance– 20 feet away. At least we were (mostly) able to stay dry.

Our lovely bus drivers, Manuel and Ivan, provided us with our first culture shock as we completed the 45-minute scenic drive from the packed city streets of Managua to the quiet colonial streets of Granada. Our lovely host, Claudia, welcomed us at the door and we settled in for our first nightly meeting. As excited as we were to get here, most of us could barely keep our eyes open by the time the meeting ended.

As we brush our teeth, fight for the chance to take a cold shower before lights out and change into our PJs, we send everyone big love!

Buenas noches!
