Torrential downpours and lightning did not stop Springfield and Greenfield Global Glimpsers from connecting with each other before the trip to Nicaragua. Students (Eric, Aissatou, and Rainbow from Springfield, and Kevin, Holly, Ana and Gabby from Greenfield) exchanged stories about their schools while eating pizza in Northampton, Mass. The evening ended with sharing of snap chats and lots of hugs and excitement for the upcoming trip. GG leaders Jeane-Claude and myself enjoyed a little dance in the rain as we watched the aspiring leaders plan their journey.
