After 16+ hours of travel, starting at 3AM in San Francisco and ending at 10PM in Nicaragua, the Esteli 1 Delegation has finally arrived!
Now, we’re not in Esteli, yet.  Overnight we’re staying at a hostel in Managua, then driving to the city bright and early in the morning.  Not much to report just yet – just a long day of introductions, bonding, and a little Nicaraguan fast food for dinner, since our flight in was delayed and everything else was already closed.
Tomorrow, we go on a city tour of Esteli, and learn our daily routines.  Lookin’ forward to our first full day of Global Glimpse!
Learning each other's names as we wait in Miami... "Ray brings rainbows, Zach brings zombie apocalypse, Olivia brings Oprah..."

The plus side of long travel is lots of time for bonding... that plus sleep deprivation helps our true selves to shine through. :)

A late dinner at Tip Top (very similar to KFC... but with a play area for kids) and some phone calls home to let parents know we'd arrived.
