Hey everyone, today we started our day by learning the history of Jarabacoa. The class was taught by our PC (Angelica) and after our history and culture class, we went to another interesting organization (Plan Yaque). We learned about the issues that the rivers here have. It was an incredibly educational class and a stepping stone to our CAP presentations. We traveled to the area where our project will take place. The hike to the area was very rigorous and took a great level of experience. As of right now, the project is just a hole of dirt that we will help create a filter of some sort for the water to be able to flow cleanly into the river. (Melissa: love you and miss you guys so much!!)
So glad to hear about all your learning. I hope everyone is having an opportunity to reflect on all the blessings we have here at home. Julia we miss your contagious laughter š. We all send you a big hug. ⤠I’m visiting your grandparents in Modesto and everyone here sends you a big hug as well.
