Enjoying the view from Divino Nino

Hola a todos (Hello everyone) Today was finally our adventure day where we got to have fun as a whole group or should we say family. This morning for breakfast we had sausage and yucca with strawberry juice. After breakfast we loaded everyone onto the bus and headed off to our hiking location where we hiked for an hour and got to experience all the beautiful parts of Constanza that we don’t usually see unless we go out of the city. After that small hike then came the fun part that almost everyone was waiting for and that was getting to swim en El Arroyazo, although the water was FREEZING we all had a blast; having water fights taking lots of pictures to remember all the great memories we made there, as well as swimming of course. After swimming, we had lunch by Amado’s family who came out and catered the food to us (thanks Amado!). After Amado’s great lunch and catering we headed off to our second destination where we had the opportunity to see all of Constanza from its highest mountain. The view was amazing, but unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy for very long because we were in a rush to get back to Hotel Vista del Valle to change and rush over to our English tutoring. As the days go by teaching our English tutoring has become easier for a lot of us. After tutoring we came back to the hotel for dinner and on tonight’s menu there was hamburgers and fries everyone loved it because it reminded us about foods we have back home. After dinner we setup to have our seminar which explained in depth about tomorrow’s day. To find out more you should all tune in to tomorrow’s blog to hear all about our adventures we have.

Through today’s experience we were able to get in touch with nature and see things we usually wouldn’t see in the Bay Area. On a deeper level, we were able to step out of our comfort zones and take the role as the leader! The highlight of our trip was swimming in El Arroyazo with our C2C familia!
