Once arriving to the airport in Managua, we met our Granada team! We were warmly welcomed and made our one hour journey by bus to our hostel, Casa Roja. We ate a DELICIUS lunch served by Don Carlos and his team! Que Rico! We had an opportunity to unpack and relax a little bit and then we had our Rules and Hostel Orientation meeting. The hostel is beautiful! We have a lot of common space to hangout together and outdoor space. Later we ate dinner and had our first nightly meeting where we learned about the agenda for tomorrow. Tomorrow is History Day! We will be learning about both Nicaraguan and local Granada history. We are all so excited to see this city we have traveled so far to immerse ourselves in. After an incredibly long and adventurous day, we are heading to bed to get some much needed sleep. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s adventure!
