Hola! Today was Day 2 of the CAP, led by yours truly, Kareem. We started our day with a wake-up call at 6:30 am. I played some wonderful hype music to wake everyone up. We then had a nice breakfast: toast with eggs. Afterwards, we headed to Pusuca. It’s such a beautiful community. We added some touches to what was called the mirador, or viewpoint. We put stones around the perimeter of the viewpoint so no one falls over, and we used huge rocks as steps to make it easier to get on top. It’s just breathtaking when you stand there. If you really concentrate, all your problems go away for the time being. Another part of the group worked on some more weeds in the community to make it easier for them to plant. After we finished all the hard work, we brought the community together and I (as the leader of the day) spoke to Leonardo, the community President, thanking him for the wonderful opportunity. I explained to him that it was my first time out of the country and that chances such as the CAP is a step up for anyone where I come from. We gave our farewells to the community, and the cute dogs, and returned to the hostel. We had a CAP debrief where we reflected on the group and our individual contributions to the CAP.
HOLA Kimberly buen trabajo estamos muy orgulloso de ti espero estés bien al igual que todo el grupo we miss you love Vanes ,Carlos.
