Hi my name is Michael Campos!

Today we went to see a non government organization known as INPRHU. INPRHU focuses mainly on educating kids about helping out their communities. INPRHU is the oldest non governmental organization in Nicaragua and has many volunteers, some ranging as far as the United States. We then proceeded to a surprise visit to the bakery. Students bought their own sweets ranging from cakes to cinnamon rolls even pizza could be found there. After that in the afternoon we met up with a great with our partner organizations Fundación Cristál and ECOES an environmental organization that tries to educate its community in ways to be more friendly to the environment. We met to talk about about the site of new school and how all three organizations will work together to make a completely “green” play structure for their integrated school. We then went to Esteli’s first and only Eco park to provide inspiration for our structure. We then went to the school itself and planned what we would do and where it would be placed. After a long day we decided to take a break and relax. We then went to celebrate RJ who turned 17 today!

Being a leader was challenging. I always had to manage to stay on task and plan our next move. I feel I could have done more as a leader but I feel I have learned from my experience to become a better and more exceptional leader.

E1C over and out!
