My name is Christie Clarke and I am one of your Global Glimpse Leaders. I met some of you a few weeks ago, but am excited to meet everyone in about two weeks! I am a speech and language teacher at Williamsburg Prep High School in Brooklyn. I studied Spanish in college and lived in Madrid, Spain for some time. I love to travel and have been to Europe, Asia, South America, and will add Africa to the list later this summer! I especially love traveling to Latin America. Aside from being a great place to practice Spanish, I have found each place I have visited to be incredibly eye-opening.
I have spent time in Bolivia and Peru, but have not yet been to Ecuador. Traveling has taught me so much and I look forward to visiting a new place and getting to know the culture with you guys.
Just so you know a little bit about me, I like to do yoga, read, hang out with friends, and spend time outdoors in my free time. During the winter, I try to go snowboarding as much as possible and during the summer, I love to be by the water.
