Today we took a trip to Jonathan Batista Greenhouse. First, we took a tour around the greenhouse then after we helped pick the weeds. Afterwards we thanked the farmer for letting us in his space and then we came back to the hotel for lunch. For lunch we had Sancocho con arroz blanca. Moving forward, we cleaned up after lunch and had a mental warm-up. Afterwards, we went to the World Agrro Marketing Center, where we took a tour and helped cut cucumbers with the workers. We thanked the workers and came back to the Hotel to self-reflect in small groups. Next, we has a group seminar where we learned about AID. Lastly, we had mashed potatoes, fried chees, and vegetables for dinner followed by our nightly meeting.
