After a long tiring day in the community, Glimpsers were excited to sleep in accompanied by a rainy morning at Rancho Ruisenor. As Glimpsers slowly entered the dining room, we were met with plantain, 2 kinds of eggs, bread, papaya, and papaya juice.

After a refreshing and fulfilling meal, we sat and had fun; we discussed our likes and dislikes, and put together a diverse playlist of music that represents all of us. In an effort to calm ourselves down from our laughter and joys, we attempted to be silent for 1 minute. Following multiple failed efforts, we finally succeeded. We decided to challenge ourselves by being silent for 3 minutes. After success for 2 minutes, Misael walked in and tried to make us laugh. He was unsuccessful, and we continued until the final minute. A near-successful activity was ruined at the final second by one word: Hola! (by our food delivery guy).

Lunch, like always, was delicious. It included Locryo, potato salad, vegetables, papaya, mashed plantain, and papaya juice. Despite the delayed lunch, Glimpsers were excited for an afternoon in the city and quickly loaded up into the safari trucks into the city.

In the city, we were divided into 3 groups who would either explore the city or visit the bank. In the city, we visited a variety of stores including markets, ice cream shops, and souvenir shops. Everyone stocked up on snacks just in case they need to eat a little something and cooled off during the hot day with ice cream. Since everyone wished to hang out as a group, we met at a local basketball park to obviously play basketball but also to relax with the slight drizzle and cool breeze. There, we watched a group of local teenagers play an intense game of basketball. We, however, played on the other side of the court in games of 3v3. Misa, of course, was the best. Some of us played soccer with a little boy who was alone. After an hour of play, we loaded up on the safari trucks and headed back to Rancho Ruisenor.

With 105 minutes of free time, some played volleyball, some relaxed in the pool, and some slept. We had a lot of fun showing off our talents, especially in pepper.

At dinner, we had chicken nuggets, salad, fried yucca, mashed potatoes, papaya juice, and pineapple juice. Sitting together, we laughed with each other and told stories that entertained everyone.

As usual, we ended the night with our nightly meeting where we went over the day, question of the day, pluses and wishes, and quote of the day. As with any ritual, we passed the torch over to the next LDDs who showed off their impeccable talents. The next LDDs went over the day and we sit in anticipation for the events to come.

From all Glimpsers,
MAAAAAN!!!!
