YO, hi, bro, dude. EVERYONE HELLO.

Today we woke up early, as in usually the time my mom wakes up. Six in the morning. We had a small breakfast, then went straight to working with a local community to discover the value of hard work and living on only a dollar a day. We showered with bucket. However, the people we worked with were very hospitable and ready to put us to work. For my family, I’m Gabriela, Florentina had a family of seven, she had a small house with no table to even eat on. It’s the small things we take for granted, I dropped all the the food on the ground without a table during lunch. We had lunch with them by the way.

On the other hand, the Birmania family that Clara stayed with was one of the community leaders, and as a result they were more fortunate than some of the surrounding families. We started by asking Birmania some questions about her life then proceeded to help with the chores around the house. From there we went down to the river with her daughter and hung out for a while. I think I can speak for everyone when I write that the experience was truly wonderful, and we were able to learn a lot about the community.

The rest of the day was the normal routine, English tutoring, then dinner, and a reflective nightly meeting. The day was as always, adventurous and fun.

By the way mom I want a comment, I need to feel loved.

Hola*
