Hey all!! It’s Jailene & Xander, The Leaders of the Day! Today, we woke up at 6:30 am although some people were awake before then. We started off by having some delicious breakfast.
Our first activity of the day was going to the beach. We were at the beach from 9-11 am. While at the beach we played Marco Polo, sunbathed, took pictures, and of course, got in the wonderful Caribbean ocean. Overall the beach was a wonderful and fun experience. After the beach, we headed back to our beach house where we had lunch. After lunch, we headed back home on a 4-and-a-half-hour bus ride.
When we got home we practiced for our cap project which we talked about the water reservoir and we (Xander, Samantha, Jason, Jailene, Manaia, Karla, and Ingrid) presented to the head of the project, Francis. After that, we had an amazing dinner we then headed to our nightly meeting. Overall today was a super chill day. We are all very happy to explore the DR.
