We woke up at 8 and had a delicious breakfast, made by our cook Diego, which consisted of Gallo pinto as the main course, a side of eggs, and a choice of watermelon, mango, and pineapple, with a glass of juice. We transitioned into a group discussion on Aid and Development. The group had a great contribution to the discussion by having good questions and paying close attention to the entire presentation. We then had lunch at 12:30. Diego made us Arroz con carne, ensalada y frijoles con chips.

After this, we had an indigenous woman named Yanory talk to us about ayuda y desarollo. Her presentation had a great impact on us and we all learned new things about the indigenous community. The group was incredibly interested while she was talking and asked many great questions.

We then had quiet time for everyone to unwind and be alone for some time. Then we had hot dogs for dinner. Continued with our nightly meeting to talk about our day and do some reflecting. The leaders of the day were really consistent on trying to get the whole group to practice their Spanish.

Finally, we passed the torch to Lydia and Edgar O.
