Today was Free Day. We all woke up at 8am (which means we got to sleep in a little!) and went down for breakfast at 9am. We had two opportunities today to go explore the city. Some groups went to the nail salon, some went to buy souvenirs and jewelry, and some went for ice cream. In the afternoon, a nail stylist came to the hostel to some people’s nails.

In the evening we came together to focus on our CAP project. Many people had different ideas of how to best create the basketball court and clean up the surrounding area. Our different committees are: Builders & Movers, Cleaners & Beautifiers, Painters, Designers and Shoppers.

Tonight we need to prepare for tomorrow, which is Living Like a Local Day. This means, there will be NO electricity or running water, which means we have to take bucket showers!! To prep for this we need to fill up the buckets and get our flashlights ready!
