Today we woke up on fun day ready to experience the luxuries of the islands. After stopping at the elegant eatery, La Favorita, we took a short bus ride to the port of Granada. We unloaded the bus and started towards our 10 foot yachts. Because safety always comes first we put on our trendy orange lifejackets and headed towards our own island resort at a soaring speed of 8mph. We were greeted by 4 pools and hammocks everywhere. We swam, played soccer and volleyball, tanned/burned, kayaked, and paddle boarded for hours. After our traditional American meal of Hamburgers, Chicken Nuggets, French Fries and Coke we played a high intensity volleyball game. After burning for hours under the sun, we returned to the hostel for some R&R. Once again after our delicious Gallo Pinto at La Favorita we gathered for a record breaking 24 minute nightly meeting. Once the meeting was over we bonded over Cards Against Humanity and the famed song, Despacito. All in all it was a great way to spend our fun day living as true tourists in Nicaragua.
