Dominican Republic!

Hello, I am Felix, a junior at Pittsburg High School. I am Nicaraguense so most of my travel experience is going to Nicaragua and back. For New Years though, I went to Spain with the Pittsburg High School Marching Show Band (PHSMSB) and we marched and played music in the Three Kings Parade. I love playing music because I think it is a great way to build a community and a cultural identity. Going to the Dominican Republic, I hope to learn more about their music as well as their food and compare it to how it is back in Nicaragua. I’m ready to have a good time and work hard with all of you guys!!
