Hello! My name is Mimi Guillory, and I am currently a junior at Summit Tahoma High School in San Jose.  A little bit about me: though I am not fluent in Spanish, I do enjoy learning about the culture. I work at In n’ Out and take school very seriously and am a 4.0 GPA Student.  A few of my favorite things to do are hanging out with my family and watching some of my favorite shows, The Vampire Dairies and The Outlander. This summer after this amazing trip, I have a few camps at Standford University to learn about the medical field. After my senior year, I am looking to go to a four-year university as Pre-Med. I want to major in Biology and minor in Business, and then go on to be a Physician’s Assistant or get my Ph.D. I am super excited to visit the Dominican Republic. I’ve only traveled within the United States (I have been to 24 states, total), so this will be my first time out of the country. I am excited to learn more about the culture and visit the city. I am so grateful for this opportunity to travel at such a young age and can’t wait to meet new people!
