Greetings
I am one of the Global Glimpse Leaders, and I am so looking forward to sharing this journey with all of you.
Hmmmm- a little about me. I have a very eclectic background. Born and raised in Harlem, NY. Professional dancer/choreographer, founder/director of a non-profit for 30 years, foster mom of nine, and Interfaith Minister. Also, a dance instructor in many of the NYC public and private schools for over 20 years. Traveled and toured as a Performing Artist, began early retirement (well what I thought was retirement) and joined the Peace Corps. Served two tours of service as a volunteer in Moldova and Eswatini, now I am a recruiter for Peace Corps happily getting volunteers back in the field. I know that’s a mouth full … but hey I can’t swim. LOL
I am looking forward to meeting all of you, integrating into a new community while learning and honoring a new culture.
I have lots of energy, love playing games, listening to music and dancing.
Oh- one more thing, my favorite color is Purple. I will try not to wear purple outfits every day, but I can’t promise.
I was looking forward to Ecuador but I am ready for the Dominican Republic. It’s not the destination but the company. Let’s Go!
