Hello Glimpsers!
I am Melissa and I will be one of your leaders for the trip to Esteli, Nicaragua in June! I live in San Carlos, California and I love to swim, dance, hike, and spend time with my friends and family. I have taught high school in Mexico and always am looking to make new friends from all different backgrounds and cultures. This is why I am so excited to be going to Esteli this summer!
I decided to become a Global Glimpse leader when my friend, Cyndi told me about the amazing opportunities that this organization has to offer. I wish I knew about this when I was in high school, but now I get to share all the excitement with all of you this summer.
I am so excited to be part of this adventure and to make wonderful memories with all of you! I am excited to practice speaking Spanish, learn about a new culture, and to meet all of the students on the trip. Can’t wait until I see everyone at the airport on June 7 for our overnight flight!!!!
