Hello everyone!  My name is Ms. Mac and I can’t wait to travel with you all to Moca on July 6!  I wanted to introduce myself and tell you all a little bit about myself. I am a high school Spanish teacher at Summit Preparatory Charter High School in Redwood City.   This is my second time as a GG Leader. In 2013 I travelled to León, Nicaragua and it was a life changing experience.

In addition to Nicaragua with Global Glimpse I have travelled a bit throughout Mexico and the Mediterranean, not to mention road trips around the US.   I have been teaching Spanish at Summit for five years and before that I worked for 13 years as a youth development professional with Boys & Girls Clubs in the Bay Area. I had such an amazing experience with Global Glimpse three years ago that I jumped at the chance to do it again. As an adult I never stop learning and growing, especially from the young people that I have the privilege to work with, and Global Glimpse is a great way to blend my passion for working with teenagers with my interest in Latin American culture. I look forward to learning and growing from you and with you. See you at the airport!

Ms. Mac
