Hi, glimpsers and their family/friends,

My name is Bridgett Hernandez (she/her/ella) and I am one of your Global Glimpse Leaders! I am a School Counselor at South San Francisco High School and I am also a South San Francisco native. I love exploring our beautiful Bay Area, trying out new restaurants, binge-watching shows on Netflix, taking pictures of my dog, and reading. Who has book recommendations for our flights to and from Jarabacoa?! This technically be my second Global Glimpse trip, my first one was as a high school student just like you but to Leon, Nicaragua and now this trip as a Global Glimpse Leader with all of you. I remember all of the emotions that come with traveling to another country at the age of 17 without your family for the first time, so I’d like to help you feel as safe and comfortable as possible so that you can truly enjoy this soon-to-be life-changing experience! Brendan and I are so excited to read your blog intros and then meet you all in person at SFO on 7/11 at 7 am sharp! Let’s see what Jarabacoa has in store for us!
