Today we continued our Community Action Project (CAP) and finished our English Classes.  Each group in the CAP project fulfilled their goals for the day. The carpentry group was able to construct all of their tables and benches with ease.

The sign group began decorating their sign.

The painting group was able to outline their entire art piece/mural and start painting the rainbow. They also completed the grassy fields that were requested by Adriana, the owner of the Comedor Emanuel.

Everybody was able to find something to do, and we were efficient with our time.  We were able to get a lot of work done because of this, even though we were all very tired.

After we finished our CAP project for the day, we prepped for our final English Class.  Then we ate some bomb taquitos at Su Pollo Listo for dinner.  I had seconds.. tee hee.  Shortly after dinner, we walked over to our English Classes.  The classes seemed successful overall, as they were our last “actual” classes where we would teach English.  Some of the students were sad to hear that we would not teach anymore which felt good and bad knowing that we probably wouldn’t get to see them again.  All in all, the day was executed stupendously.
