Today we started off with a wake up call at 7:30 a.m. and had breakfast at 8:00 a.m. After, we were on our way to Bajo Corral for our last day of our CAP project.

Once we got there, we went straight to work on the finishing touches. As a group, we worked together and were able to finish EVERY PART of our project. (See the pictures below for the end result of the murals, garden, compost, planters, bathrooms, and reforestation).  Unfortunately, the end of the day came and we had to say our goodbyes to the kids.  All of our emotions came out–all our happiness that we have created with the kids. We had mixed emotions knowing that we would not be able to share these special moments another time, so we enjoyed it to the fullest. We had two students share their appreciation to all the students and community members that helped accomplish our goal. Us Glimpsers really took into perspective the amount of change and help that can be done by working together and it showed today on our last day.

When we got back to the hotel, we had dinner and our Nightly Meeting. After, we all went out for ice cream at the heladeria for our Big Love session and a group bonding activity. We are excited that we still have a few days left together.

After a successful day in Bajo Corral, we feel accomplished. We will take this experience back home to help our community and be active daily.
