Hello everyone! ¡Hola a todos!  My name is Jessica (Señorita Schaetzke) and I will be one of your GG leaders to Constanza!

I’m originally from Minnesota, where I taught High School Spanish for 9 years before moving to the Bay Area in 2014.  I now teach AVID and Spanish at Cupertino High School.  I love traveling and spend many of my summers abroad.  This will be my first time traveling with Global Glimpse, but I’ve traveled with students throughout Spain every other summer since 2009.  In my free time, I love staying active by playing sports (volleyball is my fav), doing yoga, hiking, and biking.  Being a Spanish teachers allows me to live out my passions – I love listening to music, going to concerts, dancing, traveling, meeting new people, and eating new foods!  I am so excited to meet everyone on Tuesday and can’t wait to experience the Dominican Republic for the first time with all of you.
