Hello Global Glimpse family! My name is Rachel Shin, and I am from Cupertino High School from California! If you see me in my natural habitat, I’ll be doing one of the following: playing flute, dancing (specifically hip hop/street), browsing Spotify and YouTube, editing video content, exploring Adobe programs, eating Sour Patch Watermelons (those are the best), or drinking boba (I’m from Cupertino- enough said). As you can see, my life often revolves around technology. I’m both excited and anxious about going on this trip, for it will be my first international trip that will not have WiFi 24 7. It may not sound as intense, but coming from an extremely technology-based city that is home to big companies like Apple and Google, it will be quite a drastic change. I am also planning on documenting this trip as practice for what I want to pursue in the future; I aspire to be a journalist and reporter, so I would like to take advantage of this opportunity that puts me outside of my comfort zone. I am also a very social person, so please do not be surprised if I randomly greet you at times! See you guys soon 🙂
