Hello Students!

I bet you’re getting excited for our spectacular trip to Esteli, Nicaragua! So am I!

I am one of your Global Glimpse leaders going on the trip.  I am a teacher at John Swett High School in Crockett, CA.  I teach mathematics, history and economics.  I coach cross country.  I have taught at the high school for thirty years and I have led three Global Glimpse trips to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.

I love this program because it will change your life!  You will meet so many wonderful people and have the opportunity to work with them and learn about their culture. Global Glimpse has planned for a great experience for all of you, especially if you are willing to step out of your comfort zone and try new things!  I know that for many of you, this will be your first experience visiting a third world country.  That’s the exciting part!  You will make many new friends and leave a lasting impression on all you meet!

Soon, I will be reaching out to many of you by phone.  You can ask any questions or concerns you might have regarding the trip. I strongly encourage you to introduce yourself to the rest of our delegation on this blog before our trip-reavh out to GG staff if you need the log-in info.

I can’t wait to meet all of you at the airport!  Good luck with your planning and packing!  Feel free to contact me at [email protected] should you need my assistance before the trip!

Best,

Tony Tuttle
