Hi!

Hey guys! My name is Harsh Sompura, and I’m going to be a senior at Irvington High School in Fremont. I was born in India and moved to California when I was 4, but I’ve also lived in other places all over the world, including Japan and North Carolina! While I may have traveled a lot in the most, on most days I’m pretty sedentary, preferring to stay home and watch random videos online, read, listen to music, play video games, and talk to friends. I also enjoy helping others however I can, and for me that usually means tutoring. I’m an active part of one of my school’s tutoring clubs that focuses on helping elementary students that need a little bit of extra help with school. Since I’ve already seen poverty firsthand in India, I want to learn more about what it looks like in other parts of the world through our trip. I’m also looking forward to learning about their way of life and drawing connections to what I’ve personally witnessed in the past, and meeting all of you guys! See you on Wednesday!
