Hello, everyone! My name is Sam and I’m a junior at Mt. Eden High School in Hayward. I am really looking forward to learning not only about my fellow Glimpsers, but the worldview that Ecuadorian people share.
This will be my first time leaving the U.S. in five years, but I’m honestly just as nervous as someone who’s never traveled before. Some of the things I enjoy are going on the occasional hike and even going on a brisk walk. I love singing, even though I may not be the best, and writing: whether it’s for my school’s newspaper, poetry, or personal journaling. I hope to get to know you all better on the trip.
