Ngoni! My name’s Genevieve. I currently work as a Wellness Center nurse at one of the high schools in the San Francisco Unified School District. I have led two groups of Global Glimpse participants in the past, both in Nicaragua. I travel for leisure (I have visited 60 + countries and still counting) and volunteer work (I served four times in the United States Peace Corps and plan to continue volunteer service in any way I can). Traveling allows me to learn languages, too. Not that I can remember all of I what learned after but I know it is fun while I am at it!

I believe in the transformative power of education. I am passionate about in empowering young people to hone their knowledge and skills to be the best versions of themselves and make the best of their potential as future leaders of their communities and the world. This is done through education, in both formal and informal settings. The Global Glimpse program is one of the ways to do this.

I am excited to be part of your cultural and educational journey. I can’t wait to learn with and from you!
