Today was a very amazing day for the global glimpse team! Celine and I took over the day as leaders of the day. This was a very special opportunity because we were the first student leaders of the day. Therefore, we set a very special and high bar for the next leaders. Celine and I wanted to make the day special by making everything about inclusivity and family. We encouraged students to sit with other people that they may not have sat with before or talked to on a deeper level before. Additionally, we sat through presentations from Diriamba dancers and a San Juan artist where we learned how to sculpt clay Andre how to paint pottery. The day was filled with love and fun and we even ended the day with the word family. In conclusion, this group is definitely going to be family after this trip.
