Hi! Parents and family members today was a day full of agricultural and fun day of course! Today we learned about eduction and visited a local recreation center. We learned how to catch a chicken, how to plant a tree, make compost, and collect fertilizer from worms! what really hit me in the head today was how here in Nicaragua education is taken really seriously and spend more money on education then in the United States. What surprised me the most about today was when Jarid was eating a goat came out of no where and began to eat out of his plate!!!!! All Jarid did was scream at the goat and the goat obviously didn’t know English! I’m most proud of the work we did today in the field, and learning about different ways the recreation does to educate local farmers about inexpensive ways to farm land.
