How does the History of DR effect the present?
Saludos! Hello all. This day started off in Santo Domingo with a fabulous introduction to the culture of DR presented by our coordinator Cristian! Shortly after we ventured over to San Juan de la Maguana and were welcomed to our BEAUTIFUL hostel D’Angel. It is fantastic!
Once we arrived we experienced an interactive History lesson of major events, cause and effects of the DR. Throughout the day we ventured on a walking tour to historical landmarks. Enjoyed DELICIOUS meals at D’Ines restaurant. We have truly enjoyed our first full day of history and adventure.
